Wag ly, Pooper Scooping Hero's

Let us be completely honest with each other. You have a dog. Your dog is a magnificent, loyal, joyful creature who brings immeasurable happiness to your life. Your dog also produces an extraordinary amount of waste and someone needs to deal with it.

That someone does not have to be you.

Wagly Pooper Scooping Heroes come to your home on a schedule that suits you, scoop every inch of your yard with thoroughness and discretion, bag and remove the waste, sanitise their equipment between every single yard, and leave you with an outdoor space you can actually walk across barefoot without consequences.

No landmines. No smell. No Sunday afternoon ruined by a chore nobody wants.

Weekly, fortnightly or one-off visits · Full yard scoop every visit · Equipment sanitised between yards · Gate locked photo sent on completion · Eco-friendly waste disposal · Verified and background checked

OUR HERO'S

LET US ACKNOWLEDGE SOMETHING

This is the service everyone needs and nobody wants to talk about.

Here is what we know about dog poop in Australian backyards.

It accumulates faster than you think. One dog produces approximately 340 grams of waste every single day. That is 2.4 kilograms per week. Over a month that is nearly 10 kilograms of waste quietly building up in your yard, your garden beds, your lawn, and occasionally your shoe.

It is genuinely bad for your lawn. Dog waste contains nitrogen levels high enough to burn grass, and the bacteria and parasites in untreated waste can survive in soil for extended periods and pose real health risks to children, adults, and other animals.

It is a meaningful percentage of every weekend you would rather spend doing literally anything else.

And yet — because of a combination of guilt, embarrassment, and the deeply ingrained belief that dealing with your dog's mess is simply part of owning one — most people never think to outsource it.

We are here to tell you that outsourcing it is one of the best decisions you will ever make as a dog owner. Your yard will thank you. Your family will thank you. Your shoes will thank you.

HOW IT WORKS

Simpler than you think. Better than you expect.

Step 1 — Tell us about your yard

Let us know your suburb, how many dogs you have, roughly how big your yard is, and how often you want us to visit. We match you with a local Scooping Hero and get your first visit scheduled.

Step 2 — We come to you

Your Hero arrives at the scheduled time. They do not need you home. They let themselves into the yard via your gate — which they lock behind them — and get to work. Every square metre of your yard is covered. No patch is assumed to be clean. No corner is left to chance.

Step 3 — Every scoop, every time

Your Hero works systematically through the entire yard, collecting every deposit they find. Waste is bagged using sealed, heavy-duty bags for hygienic, odour-controlled removal. They take it with them — you do not end up with a bin full of bags in your yard.

Step 4 — Equipment sanitised on site

Between every single yard — not between visits, between yards — all equipment is cleaned and sanitised with professional-grade disinfectant. Cross-contamination between properties is not possible. Your yard gets a clean scoop every single time, not one contaminated by whatever was in the yard before yours.

Step 5 — Gate locked. Photo sent.

When the job is done your Hero locks your gate and takes a photo of it locked. That photo is sent directly to you so you know the job is complete and your dog is safely contained. No guessing. No coming home to an open gate.

Step 6 — Enjoy your yard

That is it. Step outside. Walk wherever you like. Let the kids run. Set up the barbecue. Sit on the grass. Your yard is yours again.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU NEED US?

Pick your plan. Change it whenever you like.

Weekly visits — the most popular option

Once a week your Hero arrives, scoops the entire yard, removes the waste, and leaves it spotless. Weekly visits keep accumulation completely manageable and your yard consistently clean. This is the option that most Wagly Scooping Hero clients choose — and the one they wish they had started sooner.

Image

Fortnightly visits

Every two weeks. A slightly larger job each visit but still entirely manageable. A good option for single-dog households with smaller yards or owners who occasionally do a quick scoop themselves between visits.

Image

One-off visits — the rescue mission

You have let things get out of hand. It happens. Maybe you have been busy, or away, or the rainy season made the yard genuinely unpleasant to go near. A one-off deep scoop visit tackles whatever has accumulated — no judgement, no commentary, just a thorough, professional clean from one end of the yard to the other. The first visit to a new client's yard often falls into this category and is priced accordingly.

Add-on visits

Have a party coming up? In-laws visiting? A reason to need the yard clean right now rather than waiting for your next scheduled visit? Add a one-off clean between your regular bookings any time.

WHO USES THIS SERVICE?

More people than you would think. Possibly everyone you know.

Busy working families

You have a full working week, school runs, sport on the weekend, and a social life. The yard is not at the top of the list and the pile is growing. A weekly Hero visit means the yard is always ready for the weekend without anyone having to sacrifice Saturday morning to clean it.

Owners of multiple dogs

Two dogs produce twice the waste. Three dogs produce three times the waste. The arithmetic is brutal and it catches up with you quickly. Multi-dog households are some of our most loyal Scooping Hero clients because the volume makes weekly professional removal genuinely essential rather than just convenient.

Elderly dog owners

Bending down repeatedly in a yard to pick up waste is physically demanding — particularly for older Australians or anyone with back, knee, or mobility concerns. This service exists for you and it is one of the most genuinely useful things Wagly offers. Your dog's outdoor space stays clean and safe without you having to do the work that hurts.

Rental properties and property managers

Tenants with dogs. Communal outdoor areas. Body corporate requirements. Rental properties with dogs are significantly harder to maintain to a high standard without professional waste removal on a regular schedule. Wagly Scooping Heroes work with property managers and landlords to keep rental properties clean and complaint-free.

Dog care facilities

Doggy day care operators, boarding facilities, groomers with dog runs — commercial dog areas produce significant waste volumes and maintaining them to a hygienic standard requires regular professional attention. Ask us about commercial scooping arrangements.

The honestly exhausted

You are not elderly. You are not running a facility. You have one dog and a normal-sized yard and you are simply exhausted and you hate this particular job and you would like to never do it again. That is enough of a reason. Book a Hero.

PRICING

Honest, simple, and worth every cent.

Pooper scooping pricing is based on yard size, number of dogs, and visit frequency. Here is how it works.

Standard yard 600-800sq— 1 dog Weekly: $38 per visit Fortnightly: $45 per visit One-off / first visit: from $55

Standard yard 600-800sq— 2 dogs Weekly: $45 per visit Fortnightly: $55 per visit One-off / first visit: from $65

Large yard or acreage — by quote Large properties, hobby farms, acreage, and properties with significant outdoor areas are quoted individually. Contact us with details of your property and number of dogs and we will provide a same-day quote.

Regular booking rate Book weekly visits and receive our best per-visit rate. The more consistent your schedule, the better the value. Regular clients also get priority scheduling and the same Hero for every visit so your dog knows who is coming through the gate.

The first visit If you have not had the yard professionally scooped before — or if it has been a while — the first visit is priced as a deep clean. This takes longer, requires more work, and is priced to reflect that. After the first visit your yard is on a maintenance schedule and subsequent visits are significantly faster and priced accordingly. There is no judgement about the state of the yard at the first visit. We have seen it all. We mean that.

THE EQUIPMENT

Professional tools. Professional standards.

A Wagly Scooping Hero does not show up with a plastic bag from the supermarket and a stick. The equipment they use is professional-grade, purpose-built for the job, and maintained to a standard that keeps your yard — and every yard they visit — genuinely hygienic.

Every Hero uses purpose-built scooping tools with long handles to protect their back and allow thorough coverage of every yard surface. All waste is double-bagged in sealed, heavy-duty bags for odour-controlled removal. All tools are sprayed and wiped with veterinary-grade disinfectant between every single property — before entering your yard, not after leaving it. No cross-contamination. No transfer of bacteria, parasites, or pathogens from one yard to another. Dedicated shoe covers or boot sanitisation between yards as standard.

This is not a perfunctory wipe-down. It is a genuine sanitisation protocol that exists because we understand that yards where children play, where dogs roll, and where families gather need to be treated with a level of care that reflects that.

WHY A CLEAN YARD ACTUALLY MATTERS

This is not just about aesthetics. It is a genuine health issue.

Dog waste left to accumulate in a yard is not just unpleasant. It is a real public health and environmental concern that most dog owners significantly underestimate.

Dog faeces can contain a range of pathogens — including roundworm, hookworm, E. coli, and giardia — that survive in soil long after the waste itself has apparently disappeared. These pathogens can be transmitted to humans, particularly children who play on the ground, and to other animals. The Environmental Protection Authority in Australia has classified dog waste as a significant environmental pollutant when left to wash into stormwater drains.

Beyond the health implications, dog waste left on lawns for extended periods causes nitrogen burn — the yellow and brown patches that make a lawn look patchy and damaged. Regular removal is the single most effective thing you can do to maintain a healthy, green lawn alongside a dog.

And then there is the lifestyle reality. A yard you do not want to go into is not a yard you use. A yard you do not use is not a benefit of having a home with a garden. A weekly scoop turns a yard you avoid into a yard you enjoy. The value of that is not small.

THE HERO BADGE

Our Scooping Heroes take pride in what they do. And they should.

Let us say something that the rest of the pet care industry tends to skip over.

Pooper scooping is unglamorous work. It takes physical effort, attention to detail, and a level of dedication to doing a thorough job that most people would simply not sustain. A Scooping Hero who covers 8 to 10 yards in a single day, maintains their equipment to the highest sanitary standard between every visit, locks every gate, sends every photo, and leaves every yard genuinely clean — that person is doing valuable, skilled work that makes a real difference in people's lives.

Wagly Scooping Heroes carry the Scooping Hero badge on their profile. It is not a joke badge. It is a genuine credential that says this person has been verified, trained to our standards, and committed to a level of professional service that the people whose yards they visit deserve.

We are proud of our Heroes. We think you will be too.

Two ways to book your Day Care

FOR EXHIBITORS

FOR PET OWNERS

Your yard is waiting. So is your Hero.

Tell us your suburb and how many dogs you have. We will find your local Hero and get your first visit on the calendar. Your first visit is a deep clean — after that, maintaining a spotless yard is easier and more affordable than you think.

No contracts. No judgement. Just a cleaner yard and one less thing on the list.

THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK

FOR HANDLERS

FOR SCOOPING HEROES

If you are reading this thinking about whether becoming a Wagly Scooping Hero might work for you

Start with a few clients in your suburb. We organise your route so jobs are geographically clustered — less travel, more scoops per hour.

Wagly handles the bookings, the payments, the marketing, and the client management. You handle the scoop. You are your own boss with a flexible schedule and a growing, recurring client base.

People have built six-figure businesses doing exactly this. We are not making that up.

STILL NOT SURE?

Frequently Asked Questions

We understand this is a big decision! Hope we can answer some questions here for you.

Do I need to be home when the Hero visits?

No. Most of our clients are not home during their scoop visit. We access your yard through your gate and you receive a photo of the locked gate when the job is done. You never need to be home — just make sure your Hero has reliable gate access when you set up your booking.

What if my dog is in the yard?

Friendly dogs in the yard are fine — your Hero loves dogs, which is why they work for Wagly. If your dog has any aggression towards strangers please let us know at the time of booking. For dogs who may react to a stranger in the yard, we ask that they be secured inside or in a separate area during the scoop visit.

What about rain?

Your Hero scoops in rain. Wet weather does not cancel a visit. In the event of genuinely severe weather — storms, flooding, or conditions that make access to your yard unsafe — we will reschedule and notify you as quickly as possible.

What if the Hero misses something?

Contact us. We will come back and sort it out at no additional charge. We guarantee a thorough scoop every visit and if you find something we missed, we fix it. No argument, no drama.

Can you scoop the front yard too?

Yes. We will scoop any outdoor area of your property that you need — back yard, front yard, side passages, dog runs, and garden beds. Just let us know what needs to be covered when you set up your booking.

Do you provide cat litter box cleaning?

Not currently as a standard service — but contact us and we will see what we can arrange. Watch this space.

What if I have a very large property?

Large properties and acreage are quoted individually. Contact us with details of your property size and number of dogs and we will provide a prompt, accurate quote.

How do I cancel or pause my regular booking?

No contracts and no penalty for pausing or cancelling. Contact us and we will adjust your schedule. We ask for 48 hours notice for cancellations of regular bookings where possible so your Hero can adjust their route.
